Hi, what is the actual error in the server's error_log?
Do you have ioncube loaders installed and enabled in the server?
Happy with my help? Buy me a coffee.

Ioncube 4.2? But that is for php 4.2, which is very old.
For example I use php 5.4

QuoteBroken/missing ioncube leads normally to generating http 500 error or displaying information about missing ioncube, but it also may result with blank page.
To solve that: Make sure you have downloaded and installed ioncube that suits your cpu architecture and php version

how did you choose the loader? What panel do you have? Did you run the ioncube helper?
I've never manually installed ioncube, under WHM I've selected ioncube under list of exhaustive options in the Apache upgrade and that was it. Depending on your panel, you may have an Apache upgrader also which will install ioncube with no effort for you.

I'm a coder, don't know much about hosting and this is not a cms/scripting thing.

See this : http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=579101

Don't you have hosting support? You could ask them to do it, it will take them 2-3 minutes, this is what they are paid for.

Unfortunately, our Dedicated server provider only give support for Hardware but not software related issues.

Any other option please?

Did you try this http://www.ioncube.com/loader-wizard/loader-installer.zip ?

You need the loader for your OS version, the 32/64 bits (your system's processor byte-rate) and the php version installed on the server.

I assume 4.2 is not even close to be the loader your need for your system.

For CentOS on 32 bits you need this http://downloads3.ioncube.com/loader_downloads/ioncube_loaders_lin_x86.tar.gz
For CentOs on 64 bits you need this
http://downloads3.ioncube.com/loader_downloads/ioncube_loaders_lin_x86-64.tar.gz

And from this list you need to extract the loader file for your php environment and add that one to your php.ini.

You also have some informations in the Plesk support

see "Installation ionCube for PHP 5.4 (optional) 1. Download ionCube:" at http://kb.sp.parallels.com/en/115833

I can't write you one since I've never actually did it by hand, just WHM, but if you google "how to install ioncube loaders" you will find several.

https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-install-ioncube-loader
http://www.servermom.org/how-to-install-ioncube-loader-on-centos-6/802/
http://tecadmin.net/install-ioncube-loaders-in-linux/

Just make sure you use the loader file for your environment and your php version (not the ones in the tutorials, as they won't work).

What you need to know:
Server bits (64 or 32)
PHP version

The package depends on the server bits, the file name depends on the php version, ex for php 5.4 it should be ioncube_loader_lin_5.4.so , for 5.3 it should be ioncube_loader_lin_5.3.so
