Are there directions on how to use the Advertising in the control panel?

I clicked on Ads and then clicked on Jplayer ad. I then created a video overlay ad to start after a few seconds and last for 25 seconds.
For ad content I used the code: <a href="http://www.urbanmist.com/" target="_blank">Funny TShirts - Click Here</a>

But I don't see the ad overlaying the video.

I also tried to create static ads with the same code and don't see the static ads anywhere on the site.

Are there directions on how to use get the ads to appear on the site?

i think this option work only by uploading video from your site.

So is there any way to add advertising on the site if I import you tube videos?  Can I put in any advertising in any part of the site?

advertisments will show aslong as you have them set, it does not matter if the videos are auto imported or uploaded the ads are for your website and will display sitewide as long as you have them set

also your ad code, im not much of a coder but i usally have to clear the website cache when i make any changes

you have tried clearing your cache right?

I think the issue you fail to understand may be this: when you use jplayer ads they only show up in jplayer (on hosted videos, since jplayer only support hosted videos).

So if my videos are imported from you tube then does that mean they are not hosted?  So ads won't show up in jplayers for imported you tube videos?

What about the other ads such as above related videos or featured videos or above comments.  I don't see those ads either and that is not jplayer.

jplayer is a player, there is no plural, it does not support Youtube videos.
You can use the other type of ads for Youtube videos. Ads -> Create Static ads, and choose "Video overlay".

Mario,

You asked me to private message you but I never received a response to the below questions. Maybe the private message didn't go through.  This is what I wrote.

"I don't know anything about coding I am just an end user of software. What do you mean by BB code, I don't now what that is.  Did I accidentally use BB code?

I do see the overlay link in the video box. Did you put it there or did I have it set up right?

Do you know why the link disapears when I have the video in Full Screen mode? I only see the link when the video is small.

Do you know how I can place a small square banner ad in different places on the site? (a small square jpeg).

Next to each video I see a grey box on the right side with 6 other videos (What is this list of videos?)

Below that In white on the right side I see a list of 11 more videos. (What is this list of videos?)

What is the difference betwen chosing video overlay vs. Normal?

Is there a manul or user guide that I can read?"
