Just like you are running a video sharing portal, users upload the videos on your website, but the problem is default phpvibe script don't generate the video thumbnail, or fetch the duration of video also did not convert video into Mp4 (PC and Mobile Friendly Format).

If someone upload the FLV,WMV, AVI or MOV (etc) files? it's did not support by most of Smartphone like (iPhone etc). you have to convert into Mp4 and then re-uploading the file again, but with this script/module/plugin you don't have to worry about anything everything is running automatically,

Another Cool feature is user could easily add the video subtitle while uploading the video :)...


I installed this on 3.4 but now when I click upload from PC I don't get the box that lets me choose a video to upload. Also the plugin never worked. Never converted

Have you read the requirements? its only design for PHPVibe 3.3, We will update to PHpvibe 3.4 once its stable released.

I was contact with the PHPVibe staff they told me to wait for PHPvibe 3.5, will released next week, i will update for PHPvibe 3.5 as soon as it released.

Please let me know when this gets updated to support phpVibe 3.5 I am interested in purchasing this module. Also multi-server support would be BIG +. Please keep that in mind.

I honestly don't see how this would not conflict with 3.4/3.5, as video thumbnail extraction and conversion are already in there.

Sanishan, if you can build a multi-server plugin first, that would be an hit.
