Since questions on the forum very much, everyone has their requests to solve problems, have individual approaches to their web sites. I think that anyone really wants to develop its website will not spare some of the investments in the business. Given that this script is best known by its creators. Therefore I propose fpvybe team to create the conditions so that their customers can order paid services to solve problems that customers need. It will give confidence that everything will be done correctly and efficiently, and for developers - it's more productive work, which will be paid thus support this product and help develop.

You can make some packages, or payment for the spent hours or even once.

I think it should be interesting, and customers, and devs.

I think you want something like an marketplace build in resources in the forum where customers can download or buy something phpvibe is using an free software called smf they would need to upgrade to an paid one like IP Board.

Guys, we have always been very transparent of our situation.
PHPVibe is a product, one we sell on the side, our work is other, we do custom development for few customers through the year, usually the pricing starts from 10000 euro/job.
No, they are not related to PHPVibe, and since a normal developer salary in Romania with taxes is around 2800 euro per month, you can imagine why taking 50-100 euro jobs from PHPVibe is not something our management agrees to or is interested in.

We've tried before trough freelancers but results where disappointing and we've dropped the idea.

There are coders around here which know very well PHPVibe, this is why we've opened the jobs category in the forum.

I guess it is a side project because it doesn't make enough money. I would suggest to implement a milestone fund. Lets say I want the DB queries to be fixed and it costs for you xxx. I can pay part of the amount to get it done and maybe other people will follow.

You would start the job only if all the amount is funded. Similar to kickstarter.

At the end of the day you would have a better product that can be sell faster and the users would have what they want. I don't want to pay a freelancer to add some code that can break with the next official release.

I really like this idea @TigerClaw. This way a lot of the functionalities that the majority would want will become available at a much faster pace than usual. Now the question becomes what would be those functionalities?? It would be interesting to get a consensus perhaps??

It's a side project, and it gets to crowded with stupid support questions (not the case here).
I've removed the customization support, and proffesional support, so we can continue development.
