I bought the phpvibe software last year.

How do I figure out what version phpvide I am running on?

And what are the steps to upgrade from whatever version I am running on to whatever the most recent version is?

Seems to be 3.4 (tops 3.5) , but 3.4 most likely.

There are small differences between 3.4 and 3.5 so is hard to say 100%. You could open your downloaded pack and see what version you have.

You can run the 3.4 to 3.5 upgrader, it won't mess things up, just return that those fields already exist in the database.
Pack contains all upgraders for sql.

Then once I am definitely on 3.5 how do I get the 3.6 upgrader?

Have you checked that link?
All those topics are in the forum (search?) and the database upgraders are in the pack of 3.6 (Older database upgraders folder).

In your case you just need to run the database upgrade steps/files, and use the script from 3.6


From 3.3 all upgraders are in /Old database upgraders folder. From 3.1 to 3.3 use the first link.

I guess I am running version 3.4.  But I can't figure out where to download the version 3.5 from.  Where do I go to get the factual files for version 3.5 to download, wht web page has these files? Is this free or is there a cost?

Once I upgrade to version 3.5, I also need to know where to get the actual files to download for version 3.6? What web page do I go to in order to get the files for 3.6?


(Other softwares that I use such as shopping cart I can just easily skip ahead to any future version but I guess with this software I can't just skip ahead to version 3.6 and have to do some updates for 3.5 before I can jump to 3.6)

Please let me know where I am supposed to download the actual updater files that I need to use and if this is free?

This depends on when you've brought PHPVibe, 3.5 was an paid upgrade for users which brought it before 2013.
If you are one of those clients, please see http://get.phpvibe.com/upgrades
Else the current version has an folder with all previous versions and a folder for database upgraders http://get.phpvibe.com/buy?id=22
You just have to use the upgrades from /older database upgraders and the latest files (I think vibe_config.php has to be re-edited for 3.4 to 3.6.2)

I upgraded from version 4 to 5. It looks like the website is working. However I went to the page: www.blowyourwig DOT .com/up4to5.php in the browser and see the following warning message. Does this meesage mean anything or is the site working and can I now proceed to upgrade to version 6?

It sais the columns exist, no need to run that, you can just go on to the next step.
