You want an channels dropdown in the searchbox, or how?

correct. I want to have an advanced search item. That is, find each type of channel.
For example, in video channel: Fashion, Sport, Fun ...
Advanced search can find: all, or just find a category in the channel, as Sport.

It would be pretty hard to hook it to header.
But you can do it in the search page.
I can't tell you exactly until I finish this upcoming patch and try it.
