The only way to extract a thumbnail from a video file is via ffmpeg

Hi,

configure Settings -> Ffmpeg (enable, set the right paths), also, test it with the PHPVibe tester http://www.phpvibe.com/requirements/
and make sure it works (must be ffmpeg 1.x or 2.x , 0.x won't work).
