I'm trying to figure out how to keep my Youtube player in annotation mode in default?  As of right now, it is only activated if I change the setting manually in the options menu at the bottom corner of the player itself.  But it keeps resetting itself to "Annotation mode off" everytime a new video loads.  Do the other players built into the script show annotations from videos with the annotation already embeded in, like the Youtube player does?

Hi,
I'm not sure, never was found or wanted Yt's annotations.
in lib/class.providers.php you can edit the iframe as you please, maybe try to remove
&iv_load_policy=3

I'm sorry to sound like a newbie, which I am, but I see your different posts answering with "coding" to be inserted into the script to provide whatever change or effect we think is necessary.  But I'm entirely new to this process.  Is this located in PHPmyAdmin menu of Cpanel?  What link descriptions should I look for? ...kind of confusing.  I know that annotations are a little annoying, but if used properly, i assure you that they work and can help an uploader gain a LOT of subscribers, in a shorter amount of time, than without them.

You open the file lib/class.providers.php in an editor (ex notepad++), you use the search function and find &iv_load_policy=3, delete this piece of code (exactly), then re-upload the file to your server overwriting the one existing there.
You can also use Cpanel -> File Manager to edit the file, and CTRL + F for the find command once in the editor.

U DA MAAN!  Thanks Alexander!  Breaking it down for this newbie really helped a lot!  You're like "Neo" from "The Matrix!"  Stopping bullets with the wave of your hand!  LOL. Much Respect!

One last detail.  Is there a command code to make the annotations become active only when the mouse is hovering over a particular part of the player, like on YOUTUBE?
