Its not a bug, its search engine spiders crawling through your website, and they tip off the video view counter.

Is that a solution ?

You know its creepiest thing which can present on a commercial video site. People will think we are trying to make them fool.

Alexandar, mario : Come out with a solution patch on this ASAP please.

Honestly, you expect somebody to reply at midnight?

There are topics about this, in most cases and database check + optimize via phpmyadmin fixed it.

Log into cPanel.
Click on phpMyAdmin.
On the left will be a list of databases. Select the one to repair/optimize.
This will load all of the tables in your database into the right side. At the bottom of this list, check the "Check All" checkbox.
Just to the right of the Check All link, select the "Repair" option in the drop-down list.
This will list all the tables, with "OK" listed next to them. When this is done, look up to the top of the page and click on the "Structure" tab.
Once the process has finished the page will revert back to step 4.
Click "Check All" again, and then choose "Optimize" in the drop down menu.

Hi Alexandar, sorry forgot time difference.

I have tried database optimization and everything but its of new use.

I just got mail from hosting team that my account could be suspended due to high resource usage and I got the hint to what's happening. Read this carefully please and answer.

Potential Scripting Issue - ****** - InMotion Hosting, Inc
Hello Rishab,

We have been tracking high resource usage on the machine housing your account, and we have traced the activity back to your site.

From limited research we noted that part of your site appears to use larger amounts of system cpu and memory than is normally allowed. Issues like this can be caused by abnormally high concurrent traffic to specific parts of the site, or by a script that is perhaps not optimized for more aggressive use.

From what we could see, the portion of your site causing the issue was:

/home/wwwmodit/public_html/cron.php

There were approximately 72 of these processes spiking the load on the physical server. The above file was disabled in order to prevent suspending your entire VPS.

Now when I check the error log, its almost 1 gb again.

This website was launched this morning only.

When I check my dashboard and see the cron setting which do not have bin path, their is a notice

Attempting a 'whereis php' command:

php: /usr/bin/php /usr/lib/php.ini /usr/lib/php /usr/local/bin/php /usr/local/lib/php.ini /usr/local/lib/php /usr/local/lib/php.ini,v /usr/include/php

Is this the reason for whole mess ?

Please answer it on priority basis as my VPS account worth $900 is in trouble.

If you have crons but did not setup the php path, it may cause an bad input in the exec, which indeed can create a tone of errors and problems. Actually this is why cron config exists, so you configure before you use.

Also the amount of crons, can be an issue, for every cron it makes a lot of requests to Youtube api and processes every results, this way if you have to many, clearly it can put an server down.

1000 clips  = aprox 1050 requests to Youtube, and pages to process.

Where the hell are you hosted on 900$ vps?
I pay a little bit more for one of my dedicated servers with 8gb of ram and 2x quad core cpus, 4 Tb of space.

Oh thanks, I have set the config in the cron settings now, hope this issue doesn't come over again.

hahha I am hosted on Inmotion hosting VPS, they are undoubtedly GREAT, have been using them for 3 years.

And yes its the price for a year not month :D (Just in case you misunderstood)

No, i didn't, same for me, yearly price.
you may wish to lower the number of crons, or the number of videos imported per cron.
