I have tried but Google login/registration is not working.  The error is 400. Google want website to be registered, and something related to Google's deprecation of the OpenID API is causing  authentication error on login. 

Any help will be appreciated,

I have the same problem! When i try to login with google he say:OpenID auth request contains an unregistered domain.

How can i solve it?

It needs a full rework since Google moved from openid to google+ logins forcing everybody to change.
We'll handle it.

It was fully replaced in the update from OpenAuth to Google Plus login.

Can I somehow get the new Google Plus login without making the update to the new version?
If I must upgrade, is this the process to follow:

The changes only for the google login are in index.php and callback.php and also the lib/google replaced in full.

If you want to upgrade in full, just run the upgrader in the "old database upgraders" folder" called up36tov2.php, it will upgrade the database, the rest are file changes, most files are touched, so you may want to back-up and copy&paste your changes after overwriting the files.

I have made changes in Index.php, callback.php and replaced lib/google in full but Google login still doesn't work.
I have now tried to replace even Index.php and callback.php in full but it still doesn't work.
Do you know what could be the issue?

Replace also /moderator/login.php and make the google app and add the keys in Login settings.

Sorry Mario,
But this is still not working.
I created the app, inserted the client ID and secret and I still receive this:

Error: redirect_uri_mismatch

The redirect URI in the request: http://talentshowroom.com/callback.php?type=google did not match a registered redirect URI

Do I have to insert a redirect URI in the Google App or delete it? (I tried both)
Do I have to insert the keys in index.php and callback.php?

I had the same problem. Not sure how I've fixed it, took some Googleing, but the redirect and the actual redirect link should be the same.

Maybe is a www./non-www issue?

The Google+ login has key requirements, they are added in admin under login settings, your error sais your client_id is wrong/missing.

The old login (via OpenAuth) was fully deprecated by Google, there's nothing you can do with that anymore.

It means you need to create an app for it to work, at Google.
