I've got the problem, when a mp4-file will be uploaded, that it will not be converted like all the other file-types.

Is it possible that a mp4-file will be sent through the converting-procedure like all the other file-types when being uploaded?

yes , the files will be converted automatically

This was removed since 4.2 I think, but I've checked videocron.php and it doesn't skip the mp4 anymore.
Make sure you keep your files fresh.
