I am trying to get my channel display to be in alphabetical order and in a grid layout. What would I need to edit to begin doing this?

com/com_channels.php
and
tpl/main/channels.php are the files.

The list itself is rendered by:

Code Select Expand

the_nav()

which can be modified in lib/functions.php

but it already orders the main categories by title

order by cat_name ASC

To make a grid, just edit a bit the html output (other classes if needed) and mainly it's an css change there, depends how you want them to be.
