Did you had an robots.txt? Can you check, since there is no downgrade difference in seo between editions.
Maybe you had an robots.txt blocking the crawler (that would explain what you describe).

There is nothing real-time at Google, it will index you, keep it online, it may take days, a week, more.
Just make sure you no longer have that robots.txt file.
also, add you site in google webmaster tools to monitor it.
