Hey Mario...while creating a new user, i entered the fb username too as it is in the option,but when i am trying to remove it, it's not getting removed...what to do....

No chance ASAP, busy as hell, the guys which will join the team will have an list of priorities to look for and fix (still doing interviews for hire).

Ok....understood, but talking of alternative,how can i remove that option, so that no one enters his/her fb username.

You can do it in the /profile/edit.php file in the theme.
