Hi, I am thinking of purchasing a license for phpvibe. However, my site will be mainly about embedding videos from youtube, etc. I do not plan to have any uploading of my own videos. So, do i still need to have FFMPEG installed in my server? Or can I run phpvibe without it?

i think your answer is NO, because the ffmpeg is optional, if you want to upload the video to your own site then you need it.

Hi, if you do not plan to host your videos you do not need FFMPEG.
FFMPEG is needed for : uploaded videos conversion to .mp4, duration extraction and thumbnail extraction.
It does not help or interact with other features of PHPVibe.
