I just checked that there is no way (in the moderator panel) to request surname/last name on registration.

There is fast/simple way to request in the registration form the last name too?

Not really.

Maybe using the "username" field, but it's a bit tricky.
You can suggest it as upgrade on the 3.7 thread.
