I have created 2 channels and imported videos into both but only 1 channel is available in Channels drop down.

The videos are there and browsing the channel is possible but has to be done manually.

Why would only 1 channel show in the drop down menus?

Never mind, it took 15 minutes for the channel to appear.

Use Tools -> Clean cache, you have a 2h cache.
