Hey Mario....i am confused, why you have added the option of adding a new user group, and in that you have only given option of  making the group, admin. sorry but, can you tell me anything/something  i am not getting.
what advantages do i have, after i create a group.

The groups have no attached functionality by default, you can code it, but is a step further for those who desire membership levels (paid free) so they can easily match an group id for the user.
