I uploaded a .png file as a playlist icon. However, something went wrong and it wouldn't display -- I tried to re-up a few times with the same result.
I converted the file from .png to .jpg and it worked.
However, I had to create a new playlist because there is no option for a user to change the icon once the playlist has been created.
I can change it in FTP and then amending the corresponding mysql cell, but that takes a while so actually creating a new playlist is quicker in that respect. However, users don't have the option that I do. So they will be forced to create a new playlist.

Is there no way of changing it once it has been created?

Also, what might be causing the error for the .png file to not display?

You have to clear your cache in the Admin panel. Also, make sure your image is under 900 by 900. Anytime you upload an image to replace an existing one. Always hit Clear Cache on the top of your admin panel.

I know about the cache, this isn't the problem.

There is no option to amend the image after you create the playlist -- this is the problem.

Lets say I create a playlist, then spend an hour or so adding 100 clips to it, but then decided that I want to change the image of the playlist -- I can't. There is no option to do so.
In the playlist itself the only option is to "play all".
In the playlist manager there are the following options: delete, view or manage.
delete -- obviously deletes it. view takes you to the actual link of the playlist where the only option is "play all", and manage takes you to a page where you can individually remove certain clips from the playlist.
Nowhere is there an option to change the image of the playlist.

Therefore, if a user wants to do this they cannot.
