All of a sudden, as I am adding videos from the youtube importer, and assigning them to the appropriate category/channel, but for some reason, the channel number is not being written to the database.

For example.. the page link for page 2 is...
http://www.hisvision.com/craigadmin/?sk=youtube&action=search&key=test&categ=60&orderby=relevance&safeSearch=moderate&lr=en&auto=0&allowduplicates=0&sleeppush=2&sleepvideos=0&endpage=4&p=2

But when I go to any of those videos in the database.. they show.. "Category 0" number 0 ???

Any clue why this would start happening all of a sudden?

Ok.. I noticed something...
When I deleted 4 channels, this is when all the problems started...
look at the database here...

TektonTV was the last successful category #55, then I deleted several..
http://screencast.com/t/8ACUbX2iS

then when I did the youtube import.. the videos no longer, successfully assigned to the appropriate channels.

however, if I do a youtube import for channels, 1-55, it DOES ASSIGN THEM FINE.

So why would delteding channels, mess up the youtube importer's ability to assign videos to the latest channels, 59, & 58 ??

Did you clear cache from tools? I can't really understand the behavior, it's set to assign to the category number in in the url.

hunt07777Topic starter

Yes, I cleared cache. I even deleted those last 2 channels, and then recreated 2 more (unique/new names), but before using the youtube importer to assign videos.. I cleared cache again.. verified the channels in the database, and then used the youtube importer (unique/new import search), to assign to the latest channels, but they won't write to the database.

When I go to a video that wasn't assigned and "view" it...
under the channel, it has chose in the channel dropdown "no change".

And then obviously if I assign them individually, the cat_id DOES assign it.

Just not from the youtube importer??

Are you sure you have the latest /moderator files?

hunt07777Topic starter

no I am not sure..
I did do some updates back a while back...

Where can I get those?

But I've made a lot of modifications to the front end
is that changes to only the backend?

You can download PHPVibe again and replace /moderator, no need to touch the front-end.

Ok, I did download the latest /moderator files.. and uploaded them.
However, I am experiencing the same issues.
The importer is not assigning the videos to the appropriate category.

Guess nobody sees the big announcement on the first page of the forum.
I'm not sure what you got there, do you actually select the category? Does the file lib/class.youtube.php is up to date so it includes category and owner...

hunt07777Topic starter

Yes, I replaced the / moderator file.
I also replaced the class.youtube.php file.

I created a test channel.
Imported youtube videos.. assigned them to the "test" channel.

And this is what I get...
http://www.hisvision.com/channel/test/57/

and the submit links shows...
http://www.hisvision.com/moderator/?sk=youtube&action=user&username=2Meticulous777&categ=57&auto=0&allowduplicates=1&sleeppush=3&sleepvideos=0&endpage=25&p=2

However... the videos DO go into the video database.. because they show here...
http://www.hisvision.com/videos/browse/

And so when I go to one of the videos in the backoffice, and look at the channel info I see....
http://screencast.com/t/To2PUV9X3

This all started when I deleted some channels from the backoffice.
And since then it has not been assigning the videos to channels.

HOWEVER...
When I use the YouTube importer to assign videos to channels that have already been created it works just fine.

Therefore it's not working on the latest created channels, and something shifted when I deleted a channel. ????

Please, help...  :(

I got no clue, can't reproduce this on any of my setups.

hunt07777Topic starter

Well, we just isolated the issue.
It does work on Scheduled Tasks. It successfully assigns it to the category.
However, not from the import tool.

And it does assign a category, but it's always category 0.
