Black, blue, red, your decisions...they are simple css color color codes, no images used.

Hello Mario,

I am considering to buy this version, would like to know following:

1. Will PV ever get native video conversion trough ffmpeg? I can understand little UI tweaks here and there, but why not move script to next level?

2. FTP Upload/Import feature - I was wondering if it is planned for this version? Basically to allow users upload videos via FTP to some destination folder ("source folder") and import videos from there

3. URL upload - is it possible?

4. "Being watched right now" section on the top, new videos - under it - optionally. also maybe: Featured videos - admin can determine these.

5. Basic Google Snippets implementation

as a tweak suggestion, maybe it will be better to have "Description" end "embed" drop down separately.

Description is still very important part for content viewer and should probably load on the video page without clicking on it.

View count probably needs "Views" word next to it

Also, if possible, to have keyframe thumbnails on mouse over (when you move mouse over certain position of player's trackbar and it pops thumbnail from that point of video)

1. Not sure when, ffmpeg can be a pain. I personally can't install it. So how can I support something I don't know? The php implementation in PHPVibe it's easy, but the complications that bring with it...I don't want that, prefer to lose clients. @sanishan has a plugin for ffmpeg conversion.
2. This will come soon.
3. Like remote video pulled and stored to server? It's an easy modification.
4. The only professional being watched right now are flash based, and flash is so deprecated right now.
5. This are 2 minutes html changes. Everybody wants something in plus or minus on it's site, so there will always be somebody saying he doesn't need description, somebody saying he wants that, and that, etc.
One thing I guess you fail to see it's that the description it's always loaded, it's indexed in Google and not pulled by ajax, there it's a huge difference between not being eye visible and not being on the page/pulled on click.

Sure, it is pain, especially installing and configuring on the server, but lack of video conversion is what makes this script unpopular IMHO. and then - there are lots of hostings now, who offer pre-configured ffmpeg. Look at this issue from not-so well-established users point of view: you want to add content, but first you have to use your computer to convert, or just rip-off from youtube etc and this is huge downside.

4. Hm, what flash has to do with it? can't it collect which page was opened recently and display that (even if video was not loaded)? it is not really "Watched now" in live, but pseudo-watched-now, but still.

The first one it's a basic set timeout div before player is shown... I haven't seen in video ads in their demo.
