Hey Mario, I have sent a request using contact us page for becoming a verified client. Please look into it. I have a problem. I bought phpvibe 3.3 and installed it on my website. Everything went fine, but I am unable to submit any videos. Whenever I try to submit a youtube or a daily motion video, it throws me an error saying 404 file not found. I have all the files in my PUBLIC_HTML/Mywebsitename/ folder.... please guide me and help me fix this. I am writing it here because I am not sure, I am not able to post a new topic for some reason.

It is possible that some file is missing or written in lowercase, when they normally are uppercase.
compared  files between the server and files from your computer.
Check ErrorLog (/home/user/public_html/error)and see what message you have there.

Thanks for jumping in to help me. I really appreciate it. I haven't found any folder with the name Error or anything close to that in the server. Is there a hosting website that phpvibe prefers to be on? I am on godaddy hosting... Let me know..

You can add the following line in the .htaccess:

php_value display_errors 1

or
ini_set('display_startup_errors', 1);

After you add the above line, enter the site Ctrl + F5 to hard refresh. It should show you the error or go to  error log file in ftp.

/share&type=2 goes ok

/share&type=2&step=2 trows 404

even if it's correct the path...

Sometimes it may be due to host. I have met this to several former clients. There are hosts where the configuration php / apache is disappointing.

I had this problem due to some ftp client.
Simply rewrite all files with lowercase.
For this you have to check each file.

Try a new installation by following the steps below.
1. login to cpanel
2. click on file manager
3. go to root - public_html
4. click upload and select your phpvibe.zip
5. unzip phpvibe.zip
6. go to folder cms and copy all files to /public_html
7. edit config files
8. run site.com and setup

Now your site must run ok. If not, then contact your host provider.

update:
Do not forget to set permission 777 when upload phpvibe archive.
If you do not set this permission all files will have 644 and can not be changed except by admin serverlui.

But if you forget phpvibe.zip on server, you may end up with the client account canceled if it ends up on warez
I think switching hosts it's a better ideea, it never happen to me so far.
And I don't see how it could be a file issue, it loads the same file, com/com_share.php on both links, only fails on one.

it goes without saying that after you finish the installation must delete the archive from host.

I only say solution for the problems that I encountered.
an example of what I mean.

lib/ajax/addVideo.php

Some ftp programs write this file like this lib/ajax/addvideo.php
In this case you will get error when requesting the file. The server sees as nonexistent.

Oh, yes indeed, if you have selected the option to lowercase files.

I wrote already 3 mails for my verification. Had so much stress because of useless webhost-supports today and I'm pretty upset.

I wonder if you received my mails, since you actually reply within 15 minutes and now it has been almost 4 hours, which messed up my rountine and now I lost so much time just for waiting for emails.

I need to be verificated asap, since I have a lot of issues and bugs with phpVibe 3.4, which leads me to nowhere.

Please, Can someone help here, I bought and install phpvibe pro 3.5. installation went fine, but having hard time to connect with the admin e-mail and password i provided during installation process. it keep saying wong username and password. I uninstall and install the sript several time, but same problem, i can't login in after intallation. Please help. I've got some serious issues with PHPVibe script. I have just installed the latest version and uploaded videos don't work.

Just a testing playground for PHPVibe, meaning you can build up your site for 3 months and then transfer it to a production server/hosting.
For this the PHPVibe hosting offer includes only 20 gb of traffic (not enough for a live video website).
