I Have the Latest FFMPEG on my VPS and ONLY convert MP4. I Tested on PHP Melody, ClipBucket and AdultVideoScript and VOALA, Everything works WELL, converted ALL Formats with NO PROBLEM (MP4, AVI, MKV, 3GP, MPG, RM, RMVB...) So, the BUG is on PHPVibe. What can i do for resolve this ? (i already test on 3 different vps and the issue persist). STOP trying to put the blame on our VPS or FFmpeg in trouble when the real error is in PHPVIBE. I'm not a NOOB, Currently it only converts uploaded videos in MP4 format.

I  had the same problem for 3 weeks couldn't find the solution I read tens of threads nothing helped me but today I fix it its something stupid and easy  but since im not coder its tricky for me
Firstly make sure the give you the right path for a new version of ffmpeg my hosting they was giving me old version path and claims its 1. Version wich  its not today a customer support appeared and he gave me the right new version path and everything get converted now and work fine
Just make sure you know wher to put the path.
for me it was like that ...
In the first box where you find usr/bin/ffmpeg  by default  erase that and put in : php
And then go to the second box in the bottom where you find by default : ffmpeg  erase that and put in there the right path for example : usr/local/bin/ffmpeg

As ridharezzag said it helps to make sure your ffmpeg location is correct. I was having issues with mine also and although my host told me it was correct and all ffmpeg commands were supported, i later found out that this wasnt the case as the version was too old. (thanks to alex for his help). Im not 100% certain but i think phpvibe doesn't actually convert .mp4 files it just extracts the thumbnail. It would be pointless to convert from mp4 to mp4 i think. I also remember from testing clipbucket and adultvideo script that they convert videos to .flv is this still the case? hope this helps alittle.

Okay, now the conversion is working, But it's very strange, the video after being sent and converted is MULTIPLYING . I sent two test videos in MKV . Normal converted but multiplied by more than 200 videos each. They know what can this be?

glad it worked for you try only flv and avi and see
mkv its different  and i dont know if its supported or not
