[ Video Sharing CMS v4 ] PHPVibe plan for 2013 / PHPVibe 3.3 AND +

Steps in development planned for next year:


1. Redesign admin panel (80% done)
2. Optional FFMPEG conversion for video upload
3. Custom player (depends 100% of the budget raised)
4. Optional video management on user side (edit/delete) + select multiple channels for 1 video
5. Dailymotion and Metacafe massive video importers as plugins
6. Video path hide
7.  Options API (for video options, useful for movie and music, etc websites)
8. New framework from phpRevolution (removes the already rusty one PHPVibe uses), will contain more social logins and better Core API/Functions.
9. Advertising engine (IF custom video player budget is reached, it will also contain in-video ads)
10. Image sharing/gallery
11. Facebook & Twitter API auto-search friends inside site
12. Subscribe to user with e-mail and in-site notifications
13. Maybe more :)

My plan is to make it responsible down to mobile from first upgrade. So what whould be the point to develop a mobile version?
But, this is not a "No", we may develop it if css media queries are not enought.

I had experience with FFMPEG conversion and was not very good, the server consumes resources absurdities, not offsetting the cost benefit.

An optimal option is to use Java to do the conversion using the user's computer, equalizing to this site

@mario,you dont do what you say recently;you should get us the theme first;thats what we need now and you should concentrate and make phpvibe better

@longstand sure, I'm not sure if it will be an simple update or an importer, I've changed alot.
@goodspirit that theme is still on html/css state, if I code it now, I'll have to re-code it again, and since PHPVibe it's like 3rd on my work priorities list, I cannot double work stuff, at least not in this period.

I just want to start advertising. this website and many of my other site. this is the only one its holding me and monsterpleasure.com......

I'm so much interested on jwplayer to be implemented on this new update you have. so it DOES not show YOUTUBE. your Redtube

There is no way to not show Youtube (Google bans you in matter of days tops) or RedTube (on most it doesn't, but some have watermark directly in .mp4 file)

One thing more as suggestion there should be clear cache opton in admin panel as well so we can easily clear cache and videos uploaded by the users should save the thumbnail automatically from the video and a video shared on facebook should be playable

Save thumb from video requires ffmpeg. If I said ffmpeg will be optional, I am sure you understand that it will extract thumb and duration once enabled :)

longstand we make better themes almost every day as custom jobs, we will have in offer to after this upgrade.
