Hi, I'm wondering if this software can upload and play mp4 files as they are? It's been very difficult finding a good script that can do this. I've found a few, but they miss features I need without paying a fortune in plugins.
Is there any kind of multi server support? Need this to help reduce server load.

I don't want stuff to be converted because of quality loss.

We know how hard is to find a good video script that handles both upload and social videos sharing without requiring ffmpeg and phpVibe was crafted years ago for the sole reason to fill the gap. It cannot convert avi video files to flv/mp4 (by default) but it can help you build your video project just the way you want it.

Easy embed over 20 large video sharing website (link only). Main sharing websites get also video details prefilled.

Import videos for specific Youtube searches, from users, from Youtube's channels with a single click (importer plus cron)

Since then we have added ffmpeg as option 

But without ffmpeg, you'll need to manually upload a thumbnail and input a video duration.

If your files are .mp4, you can enable ffmpeg, as it won't reconvert them, but extract duration and thumb.

We don't have yet multi-server support, but we are looking onto creating a plugin for this.

Yes, this is what I've told you, it does not convert/rework mp4 videos.
We are coding 3.5 this days, it's a complete final version of the 3 series.
I know what you mean, I've tried every video script myself before coming to PHPVibe (as client at first).

Ok I currently own a video or tube site and I was looking to overhaul it with a better script. I want users to be able to easily upload videos from their cell phones and currently my site won't do that I all. I tried it on your demo site from my Andriod phone and it seems to work perfectly. So I think I am ready to buy. I was wondering if you also could create a template for my site. Also in the current templates I don't see any room for advertisements.

Product updates are free for a minimum period of 6 months. After this period expires you will be able to extend access to updates and customer support by paying a certain fee.

Could you please let me know how much is the "extend access to updates?"

Also I read in some posts that the price for the 3.5 release could be bigger. Would you suggest to buy the release immediately? I'm actually only waiting for the 3.5 release and the confirmation about the mass import plugin.

@TigerClaw For now we have not charged upgrades regularly, except 2 years ago when it was 8 euro, 3.5 may be a new charged product, for clients who have brought it more than an year ago.
3.5 is being release so slow because we want it to be the final version for 2014, we know we lack coding documentation and themes and we plan to focus the rest of the year on this, so there is no other upgrade coming in 2014, and most possibly a 4.0 may come in 2015, till then only small patches may show up, we will always come with solutions if issues are reported.

Hi, yes.
The upgrades are free for at least 1 year.
You can switch to jplayer easily in "Player's config" after updating the cms. It will be available for uploaded videos and remote videos (mp4/ogg/etc).

Hi, yes, simply use the ad manager, if the spot is not predefined the ad manager also generates the function needed for the template edit.
You can test it on the demo by accessing "Ads" in the left menu of the admin.

There could be 2 resons for this:

1. Database crash (check/repair and optimize via the phpmyadmin will do it)

I am deciding if i should buy PhpVibe or PhpMelody. I don't know what is the difference from both! I can't really see much from phpvibe website, most of the forum area is for client's only. I really like the phpvibe design, i am not an php expert, so i am looking forward a script with plugins, and themes. I found like 2 websites with lots of phpmelody plugins, really good ones, things i want to see in my website. So since i can't see what phpvibe really offer, i would like to know if there are any plugins and themes on the forum? or if you guys are planning to make it? Alright the type of plugins i am looking for is;

1. Able to import videos from youtube and host them on my website without their logo and ads. That way i can only place my ads and logo on the video.
2. User uploads a video from their computer to my website but silently the video is being uploaded to youtube, so that way i won't use my server, and also the video won't have youtube logo and ads.
3. Video AdRoll (i didn't see if phpvibe support this)
4. Membership plugin or User level (the way youtube used to do way back, new user only had 15min video limit for upload and uplevel user could upload longer videos)

To see what PHPVibe offers, check the demo http://www.phpvibe.com/#demo , no need to browser ks of support boards, there are very few plugins and themes in the forum sold by clients. The rest you can find them in our store.

I'm curious of one thing, why would you grab youtube videos to hdd but upload user video to youtube? I can't figure this in any way...

I checked the demo but it doesn't seem to be the latest version. Well i asked for those plugins for reasons like, i don't want to use much of my server, people uploads HD videos these days, which is big like 500mb, 1gb or more. That takes lot of space on your server. So if you can upload them on youtube without them knowing it. Its just like using youtube hard drive. So that way you won't slow your server down, and you won't need to upgrade your server until you start making any money from your ads. And i meant about have video ads showing on the video. But it kind sucks if you want to put your own ads, and logo but you have youtube ads and logo already in it.

PHPVibe is meant to be a nice video framework having MOST needed functions to start a video website.

All the platforms on the market have something different, some lack that, some have that, there is none which is perfect, and will never be, since we all have our own idea for our site For example, I personally would never upload to Youtube my videos (trash ads forcing) or my users (complaints, law suits, God knows).

2. Latest is 3.6 second edition, the demo is updated always, never left behind on edition upgrades.
3. For now no, we are considering the suggestions in the build list for 3.7 sent by our clients.

We wish you to run out of disk, because that would mean your website is really growing, and until then we will have a solution.
But out of my own personal experience the disk offers are not problem, bandwidth is a problem.
For example I have 4 x 4 tb hardisks and use 5.5 Tb on a 5 years old video website (video upload only), and almost 20 Tb of bandwidth per month, while the server built itself would cost around 86 euro per month, because of the high bandwidth I pay 520 euro every month (real unmetered).

Let me explain as simple as I can, PHPVibe is a product, an framework to build your video website, one which on custom would cost more than 5000$ (I did such jobs).
Then plan for this is not to have all the Youtube features, but to allow to build fast on top of it what you desire for your video website.
Also the partner program is an AdSense architectural feature with a gate in Youtube and Youtube video targeting, but not an Youtube core feature.
For those who want something similar I would suggest using a different script for ads (preferably on a different server also), unfortunately the offer on the market is very poor, like  tops 25% of Adsense's features are available on commercial scripts.



For the plan to implement video points, no, I don't plan to make this a 'Christmas tree' script video script, but I can write you a tutorial in 5-10 minutes


I will consider the stuff, most of us have that by just creating an different folder and adding the video manager's files there (only change is in the new folder's index.php instead of is_admin() you change is_moderator() and you're done). Again, a 5-10 minutes thing.

I'm afraid both are achievable, but not standard available. Indeed a key for sort order would be needed.
I'm not very familiar with cvs format, but I assume if you already have some php auxiliary scripts you can plug them easily to use the youtube_import() function in our cms.

-  You only need the plugin brought once, as long as the other sites are under your account.
- This was fixed, playlists were added (channel uploads and also likes are basically playlists)
- The code is open, you can hook a sendmail there...

We are going to buy phpvibe paid version and we need to clarify some things:
1. Is it possible to import videos from facebook? Plugin? Can it be developep?
2. When users logins to system can they create or have diffrent comersials or banneres near their videos? And can they put them where they want on page?
3. Is there any account limits, I mean how many users can register to site which runs phpvibe?

Hi, there are no such features. Please understand PHPVibe is a cheap cms, it's not Youtube, Youtube cost was millions.
If you want this features you'll have to hire help from a freelance developer/dev company.

According to your demo, there is no terms of condition page and no privacy policy DM page etc. In the purchased copy do they have these pages or no?

The screens are old (there is a note on it), the initial price was 99 but professional support was slowly closed and removed from pricing.

If i decide to have the videos on my host i will have to have a VPS or dedicated server right? How most of your clients does? Own servers or just use youtube videos link?

1. Yes. But please check the demo, it sounds like you have not and that's a bad move.
Most clients use Youtube, they don't have much success. Some have just video upload, the hardware counts. Thouse are much more successful. http://www.phpvibe.com/choosing-a-server-for-phpvibe/
2. I don't think so. Youtube videos and Google ads don't mix good.
3. Usually I would not recommend waiting for us, we do not offer professional support and we're handling support from time to time only.

How can I buy PHPvibe as a kind of "ultimate packacke" that comes bundled with all the plug-ins and themes?

I work in a research department of a bigger company and my plan is to ask our procurement department to place one order for PHPVibe incl. plug-ins etc.

Let's say you provide an offer with a price in Euro. Then my procurement will buy this (credit card payment is possible). But they should be able to buy it  by charging my user account here ("Purchase with credit" option). I want to be able to use this charged account to purchase the plug-ins when installing the system.
It must be possible somehow to decouple the purchasing process from the installation process. It would be a kind of "pre-paid system", maybe a bit comparable to mobil phone network providers.

Hi! The mail function is not in PHPVibe, it's in your server as phpmail(). You should contact your hosting regarding this.
And also you need to verify your client account (button in up menu) to get a support answer.

Hi! It use to do that, but because of the changes you've mentioned it no longer does, it can import the embed and also allow you to download the video to your server. The video on the description page shows it http://www.phpvibe.com/xclub/
We will improved after PHPVibe v5, some major video sites now have dump files, we'll make mass importer from them in xclub...but for embeds.

Upload and fire up sqlupgrade.php to get the new database upgrades in place.
Else, the files have been changed.

You can't upgrade from v4 to v5 without losing your theme. That file just upgrades the database.
v4 is based on a Bootstrap 2 UI, and v5 on a new Bootstrap 3 full reworked ui.
