Hey there, I am not verified yet and I am having an issue that is taking down my other sites.

cron.php is currently locking up my VPS. What could be causing this?

Hi. Remove it from shell_exec and run it from cpanel http://www.phprevolution.com/forum/troubleshooting-issues/just-installed-and-20-cron-jobs/msg16798/#msg16798

That did the trick! Thanks for the help. Also, do I need cron.php or can I just remove that as well? I don't plan on having it crawl YouTube.

I went ahead and added it to run every half hour from the cpanel:
/public_html/cron.php

Is that frequent enough?

So far, this is looking like an excellent package. I can't wait to get customizing!

If you don't use youtube import crons, there is no need for cron.php or the cron job in cpanel (sorry I've missed that).
