This just happened to me, no idea why.

I went from 450 videos one day to over 16000 the next. All belonged to one user. All were listed as "processing", and none of them ever finished.

This just happened to me again.

I uploaded a video -- the first time I wasn't allowed because the file extension (.wmv) was not a valid extension type.
So I added it in the moderator panel, then went back and uploaded the .wmv video file.

It immediately listed as "processing", but in the moderator panel added over SIX THOUSAND new videos under the unpublished tab.

What is causing this error?

Additionally, on the front end, my video tally went from 23 to over 6000.

what i did to fix it i changed the number of videos in one page from settings ==> globals  Global results per page to 4000 or 3000 what ever your hosting is able to deal with  and i click delete 3000 video at once

The solutions in that thread are over a year old, so the code changes have already been implemented into newer releases.

The code changes have already been modified in the script. Yet I am still experiencing this problem, which means that the solution offered in that thread is not a solution for all.

i'm not having this problem any more i moved from arvixe to a dedicated server and installed the right ffmpeg and everything works fin

I am also with Arvixe, I contacted them about it and they informed me that the tester script works fine, and that they have the correct ffmpeg but I am still getting this error, as well as 75% of the files I try to upload don't work. Maybe it is Arvixe that is the problem.

Which company is your dedicated server with? This might be the only solution for me too.
