thanks very much for your reply, I was resolved today ( what happens = I use Filezilla to upload the file but  I don't know why don't rewrite the file, so today i was delete direct in cpanel and upload direct the file from cpanel.

Now is fix

does this apply to Ultima also? I did not see anything in the theme install instructions about replacing that file, but I am having the same issue as listed here.

The videos were working yesterday and don't today.

I did change the players around but now cannot get the videos to work with any player.. I don't know what happened :/

All the videos are still in the media directory and the links work.

doesn't play in moderator either..

the 3 videos uploaded were .mp4 originals and are in the media folder as .mp4.. all were working yesterday.
The 2 music videos are from youtube and vimeo.. both of those work.

why is it ever since I posted the above link, my website is getting bombarded with proxies attempting to access /upload.php and /login.php?

is there some kind of exploit that they are trying to use?

Bob, did you edit those videos? If so, do you have the latest /moderator version, at some point alexander made an mistake in the edit video in admin and it changed localfile to full url to file, this was triggering a bad source.

I didn't edit the video's, I just changed players.
I downloaded this on 26 August 2014, did it change since then?

about a month ago.

Players and providers have nothing in common.
send me your database login (or panel) by private message so we don't discuss all possibilities, but rather check what's the issue directly.

I just redownloaded the v3.6 and see there were several files modified after I got it last time.

I will upload and over-write the old files first and see if it corrects the issue

seems when u reupload the website you have to redo all the folder permissions :/

did you overwrite vibe_config.php? Never do that Restore it from the backup.

I restored everything the way it was from last nights backup.

I see where this problem is now, it is in the database.
Somehow in the database the source file link changed to a dead link.

I uploaded a new file and it works, that link shows in the database as :
localfile/f8eb8cdf83fb4230ae521b4a8d45f753.mp4

the ones that don't work show as :
http://website-name-here/media/d210ca69e100857ead3a...

as you can see the link is incomplete... I will correct this and make it look like the good link and see if it works..

yes.. all are working now.. actually had to clear the cache too.

In the database the links were not incomplete, they were complete website links to the file directly, something blocks this.. it must be formatted as localfile/video-filename.mp4 in the database source file..

Hope this helps others who may have this problem.. is an easy fix for just a few videos..
