I have a problem with videos converting. It uploads fine and does the thumbnail and adds the video onto the site but it doesnt seem to have converted the actual video. i get an error when i try to play and when i check the media folder there is no new file. Im assuming ffmeg is working ok or the thumbnail wouldnt generate right?

Hi! Not necessarily!
It may extract image but not convert video with the default PHPVibe command.
Can you find an error in the error log? You may need to change your ffmpeg query in PHPVibe as explained in step 5 http://www.phprevolution.com/installing-phpvibe/
If you provide an error, I can guide you. (usually missing xxx or unrecognized xxxx command).
Happy with my help? Buy me a coffee.

Hi mario i hope im not being stupid. Is it the error log on the root folder file name error_log. If yes the only error thats on there is
PHP Fatal error:  Call to undefined function:  date_default_timezone_set() in /home/myusername/public_html/ampstars.co.uk/vibe_config.php on line 41

its on there about 7000 times.

Hi I spoke to my server admin and all they said is that all those features in step five are enabled. I also confirmed that my ffmpeg location is set OK and my bin location as well. I've set the file permissions as in the install instructions. But still doesn't work. Do I need to generate a ffmpeg error log because I can't find one. Does any one know how?

you should remove that line from vibe_config.php, but awkward it gives error, it's a standard php function.
It would be there.
Mail us an ftp account so we can check. If the phpvibe command would works, as your hosting says, we would not have this discussion :)
