I have PhpVibe installed in a subfolder called /videos.

I upgraded and several things happened.
Didnt get an error. Everything went OK. But...

- Login box doesnt show when I click login.
- Cant login.
- When I click on a thumnail, video page doesnt load, just reloads home.
- My categories are gone. But they are still in the DB.

Ive modified the .htaccess, changed the base URL to /videos
Didnt work.

Am I missing something? HELP!

Hi,

go to admin -> Settings -> Permalinks and add videos as the base path for urls to work.

The rest, I have to see it to realise what's going on.

I cant login.
The home page is somewhat disconfigured. Clicking login doesnt do anything. There is no way I can get the login text boxes, or the popup.
I cant go to the /moderator either. Gives me a 404.

Hmm..just create a subdomain on that folder /video, change the settings back, configure it, and then change the base url (config) and rewrite url (.htaccess) to the folder.
I can't figure out what you did wrong, since the moderator should not return 404 (it's not a symlink but a real file path).

Its a small site, just reinstalled and everything worked.
I guess I could have done that 5 days ago before I started pulling my hair out with these problems.
So much for a smooth upgrade.

It's always an easy way for every cms, export the database content, copy the old content folders (for PHPVibe is /media /uploads), install fresh and import the old content via phpmyadmin (takes a few seconds).
