is the admin user ok?
If you run /setup does it say you have an admin user?

I'm having the same exact issue. I ran the installer and received the success message stating that I successfully created an admin account. However, I've only been able to access the moderator account only after running the installer that all. Upon logging out, I'm not able to login back in. Instead I'm receiving a message stating that I don't have permission to access. how do i correct this? please help!

just go to your phpvibe installing  files find httaccess and re-upload it to your host it will work

I have exact same problem. Already tried re-uploading uploading htaccess file - still getting error.
I installed phpvibe in a folder. Any help appreciated.
