Hello,

I purchased this a few days ago because my server passed all pre tests.
On initial tests with the default settings, things worked fine.
The little list of allowed videos worked just fine.
When I added wmv, divx, mpg the problems started.

These files can be uploaded and show up in my FTP as being there but will never play with any player in the list offered. For example, I uploaded a wmv 30 second file.. if I have new 6 checked under JwPlayer version I get "Loading the player" and nothing happens.. if I change it to "Old 5" I get "Video not found or access denied" and the video link,, but the file is in the FTP..

the media file permissions are set to 777 and the file is there, so it should work.. I need some help figuring this out.. could someone help me?

This video will not be there once this is figured out but here is the link:

http://the.westons.zone/video/33759/wildlife-wmv/

the error shows in the video... but the file is there and permissions are 777 for that folder.
It doesn't matter what player I choose I get the same error for all

This is a VPS and I have full root access..

Hope enough info is provided for a quick answer from someone

Regards,
Bob

another thing.. if I enable FFMPEG and try the same thing, the video always says, video is currently being processed and never changes.. and the file does not show in the FTP under rawmedia

Hi Bob,

first of all those are not web playable formats, and won't play in any player flash/html5.
If you want to support those extensions, you need to install ffmpeg (any version between 1.0 and 2.3.3, but not below 1.0).
The processing stuck can be due to several reasons:
1. Old ffmpeg
2. Wrong ffmpeg command
3. Bad bin path
